Meet the Dentists of Cobbe Family Dental & Orthodontics
Dr. Michael T. Cobbe
Dr. Michael Cobbe attended Florida State University and the University of South Florida as an undergraduate before gaining acceptance to the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation from the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Cobbe went on to post-graduate studies at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was chief resident and received a certified specialty degree in comprehensive pediatric dentistry. Dr. Cobbe maintained his academic affiliations lecturing extensively on advanced orthodontic technique throughout the United States and Canada to post-graduate dentists as a guest lecturer for the United States Dental Institute from 1981 through 2002. Additionally, Dr. Cobbe founded the Florida Dentofacial Study Group.
Dr. Cobbe is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Upper Pinellas Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Orthodontic Society, and is a board certified specialist.
Dr. Farah Amin-Cobbe
Dr. Farah Amin-Cobbe attended Boston University, where she received her Master’s in pediatric dentistry as well as a Masters in dental public health. Dr. Amin-Cobbe continues her post-graduate education by attending numerous continuing education courses throughout the US and internationally.
Dr. Amin-Cobbe joined Cobbe Dental and Orthodontics in 1991. She focuses exclusively on the comprehensive dental needs of children and is now treating the children of her earlier patients.
Dr. Cobbe and his wife, Dr. Farah Amin-Cobbe, enjoy travel, boating, good food, but above all, time with family and friends.
